 Coffee Afternoon Drop In
  
The Centre has a Coffee Afternoon drop in on a Monday afternoon from 12pm - 2pm. There is no need to make an appointment, just come along for a drink and a chat. These afternoons are an opportunity to meet with friends in an informal setting. If you need advice or support then a member of staff will be available to book a one to one support session with you.
 
 
One to One Support Sessions
  
A problem shared is a problem halved. A One to One support session can help if you are in a situation and do not know where to turn or what other help is available. Your session will be completely confidential and we will listen with understanding. We can offer 3 individual 50 minute sessions of support. If you would like to talk in confidence to one of our trained staff please contact the Centre to book an appointment.
 
 
 
Domestic Abuse Support/Information
  
The Herts Women's Centre offers one to one support to women who have experienced Domestic Abuse. Appointments with the Domestic Abuse Specialist  can be made by contacting the Centre and booking an appointment. We also offer the Freedom Programme, Please see our Courses page for dates and times of current courses.

Rape Crisis Support
  
The Herts Women's Centre is the Rape Crisis Centre for Stevenage and the surrounding areas. We support women that have experienced Rape, Sexual Violence and Historic Sexual Abuse. This support can be offered by phone, face to face support or counselling. Please contact the Centre if you would like an appointment with our Rape Crisis Specialist.
 
 
 
Counselling
 
 The Centre offers a professional short - medium term counselling service which offers a self referral route. This is a paid for service and the charges are means tested. For further details on charges and to refer yourself for counselling please complete and return the application below to diane.wrc@btinternet.com

 Career Investment Project/Volunteering
 
 The Career Investment Project is an initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund. If you are currently unemployed and looking to get back into work the Career Investment Project is a great opportunity. This project aims to build your confidence and skills through a combination of volunteering opportunties and training workshops . If you are interested in the Career Investment Programme or becoming a volunteer please contact us to request a Volunteering Application Form a by emailing b.wrc@btinternet.com
 
 
 
  
 
Family Law Appointments
  
The Centre offer a Free initial appointment with a Family Law Solicitor. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. We are happy to be working in partnership with:

Courses
  
The Centre offers a variety of self development courses and workshops such as Building Self Confidence, Protective Behaviours and The Freedom Programme. Please check our Courses page for further details.
 
 
 
Social Groups 
 
The Centre offers a Sewing group, a Coffee Drop-In and 2 ladies book clubs. Please contact the Centre for details on how to join.
 
 
 
Holistic Therapies
 
 Holistic Therapies are offered at the Centre alternate Fridays by appointment only. Choose from Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology or Indian Head Massage. Therapies are £5 per session (one booking per month per client only)
 
 
 
Online Shop / Charity Shop
 
We sell good quality / new items on Ebay. All money raised from the sale of these goods goes directly back into the Centre to help with the cost of running our services. Please view, share and buy from our Ebay account.

 We have a small Charity Shop attached to our Centre which provides an extra income to fund our services. We take donations of new/newly new goods including Clothes, Shoes, Bags, Books, DVD's, Bric-a-Brac and Toys. The Charity Shop also provides additional Volunteering opportunties to women.
 
 
Rooms to Hire
 
 The Herts Women's Centre can provide a room to hire. Please find our pricing structure below.
 
We offer 2 pricing structures, one for Registered Charities and Non Profit Organisations and one for Private Enterprise and Statutory Services, both at very competitive rates. If you would like further information or would like to arrange a viewing  please contact us on 01438 742742.

Individual Counselling Room £8 per hour or £30 a day (Whole day bookings are for a Saturday only) £12 per hour or £40 a day (Whole day bookings are for a Saturday only)

Drop In Area £10 per hour or £40 a day £14 per hour or £50 a day
